This page contains forms and other information useful to those who have a vessel moored at the marina.

The marina is managed by the Ladner Yacht Club Directors, who are generally elected in November of each year. The executive divide the responsibilities of operating the marina. The responsibilities are subject to the bylaws, and have often been delegated or assigned as follows:

  • Commodore presides at Club meetings and supervises other club officers, liaises with professional service providers and coordinates volunteer committees.
  • The Vice Commodore assists the Commodore; and, looks after members joining or leaving the Club and boat house transfers.
  • Rear Commodore supervises the upland Club property or shore side facilities, including: the clubhouse, the boat launch and reservations for dry land boat maintenance.
  • Fleet Captain assigns moorage and slips, and looks after the floats.
  • The Secretary approves or conducts the correspondence of the Club, routes received mail, records the proceedings at meetings, keeps corporate records, and updates the reciprocal club registry binder.
  • The Treasurer supervises financial transactions of the Club: sending invoices, receiving cheques, keeping the financial records, and working with the auditor at year end.
  • The Security Contractor  reports to the Commodore. They conduct security observation, gardening, janitorial work, answer the phone, and are the contact for reciprocal visitors. Light maintenance and re-habilitation is also done as approved extra assignments. They conduct routine operations, hand out application forms and will direct enquiries to the appropriate bridge member.

If you are a member or tenant with a business need, please contact the appropriate individual. There is normally a contact list on the notice board.
